Management Team
Board Chairman
He is a holder of an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham, England and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He has over 30 years of managerial experience in the chemical and mining industries most of which were at executive management level. Ashton is an experienced manager and entrepreneur who has particular strengths in the fields of strategy, marketing and people management. He joined the group in 2007 as its Chairman.
Managing Director
Bill is an expert in plant and equipment and has been with the company since 1994. His responsibilities range from acquisition and maintenance of plant and equipment to technical advice on setting up new projects.
Director
Alistair joined KW Blasting 2010 and comes from an outdoor background. He has experience in the Zimbabwean Tourism and Construction industries. He thrives on managing and motivating skilled staff within KW Blasting.
Operations Manager
Sebastian joined the organisation at the beginning of 2011. He is experienced in underground and open-pit mining operations and holds an honours degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management.
Contracts Manager – RC and Borehole Drilling
AJ comes from a plant and equipment background. He has run drilling and blasting contracts and has been involved in major power installation projects in the region. He also has experience in managing RC and borehole drilling work. He heads our RC and Borehole Drilling unit.
Contracts Manager
Gayne joined the organisation at the beginning of 2015 and holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. He has vast experience in underground and open-pit mining, and controlled blasting operations.
Contracts Manager
Jeremiah joined KW Blasting in 2015. He holds a BSc. Mining Engineering Honours from the University of Zimbabwe and an MBA. He has vast experience in underground mining, open-pit mining and drilling and blasting processes.
General Manager - Finance
Chenjerai is a qualified Chartered Accountant who completed Articles with Ernst and Young. He holds a Master of Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance Degree from the Midlands State University and graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree. He is also a holder of Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa. He has experience of more than nine years in the field of auditing, accounting, taxation as well as financial management.

Workshops Manager
Ben is a plant and equipment technical expert trained by Caterpillar and has over 21 years of CAT experience. He has over 25 years of managing a wide range of equipment in the construction and mining sectors.
